Young Republicans explain why their party isn't making waves with Gen Z (and what can be done about it)
Polls show that two-thirds of 18-24 year olds say they disapprove of the Republican Party. We asked young Republicans why.

I think my generation, and Gen Z, are emotionally sensitive and emotionally sensitive. And unfortunately, a lot of the Republican language is very divisive and angry. I think the left often uses fear to sell people a false purpose in life. I think the media is the biggest factor in distorting that information. Democrats tend to sell dreams and illusions. “Cancel your student loans and you'll get away from all your problems.” I think the Democrats are more focused on staying where you are and being happy with yourself. Most people my age don't want to go to work. They want to stay home and play on their phones. They want to stay home and surf the web. We need to tell people of my generation that it's time to go to work, don't wake up. We're feeling the effects of bad policies. My generation is a tax burden, and Gen Z is joining the workforce. There are people who are not confident about their financial situation, which is something that needs to be improved. Our generation doesn't pay taxes yet, so it's not attractive to us. Young people are starting to realize that there is more to life than what the Democrats are selling them. And ultimately, it's Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ who died on the cross for their sins. I think it's just about having these conversations, like finding ways to meet with these people face to face and have constructive conversations. I mean, how can you change someone's opinion other than by talking to them?
