Apple and Google restored Tiktok to their US app store on Thursday evening, weeks after removing the short video platform in compliance with a new law that banned it in the country.
President Trump tried to suspend the enforcement of the Tiktok ban on an execution order, but was reluctant to reclaim Tiktok until he was convinced that the corporations would not break the law.
The law signed last year required Tiktok, the Chinese parent company of Tiktok, to be sold to non-Chinese owners by January 19th. Tiktok.
