A man is found lying on the road with multiple gunshot wounds in North Carolina, and the boys are arrested, police say.
Three teenagers were arrested Friday in connection with a mass shooting in North Carolina in March, authorities said. On March 31, the Bertie County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a man found lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Upon arrival, officers determined the victim had been shot multiple times, and the man was airlifted to ECU Health Greenville's Trauma Center in North Carolina. The victim is expected to make a full recovery, officials said. All three boys were arrested Friday on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or cause serious bodily injury, and armed robbery.
