Singapore Airlines said on Tuesday that at least one person was killed and several others injured when the plane encountered severe turbulence on a flight between London and Singapore.
The flight, a Boeing 777-300ER, was diverted to Bangkok and landed at 3:45pm local time on Tuesday, the airline said in a social media post.
The flight, with 211 passengers and 18 crew members on board, departed Heathrow Airport on Monday.
This is a developing story.
