President-elect Donald J. Trump has at times promised to use his great presidential powers to take revenge against politicians and officials he claims have wronged him. Over the past several years, he has publicly named these people and identified what he believes should happen to them.
“I'm your warrior, I'm your justice,” Trump told his supporters in 2023. “And to those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.”
