North Carolina dance instructor arrested and charged with multiple child sex crimes, New Hanover County sheriff's office announces
We bring you the latest news from Asheboro. Police have identified the man killed in this morning's shooting. The sheriff's office says police found Daniel Jarrell, who was shot on Pisgah Road. The suspect, Joshua Sanders, was still at the scene. He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. Police say the suspect and victim lived together, but have not said what their relationship was. Greensboro Police say one person sustained life-threatening injuries in this morning's shooting. Officers responded to West Cornwallis Drive around 10 a.m. and found the injured victim. It is unclear what led up to the shooting or if officers identified the suspect. Burlington Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident. Officers say it happened on Durham Street just before 10 p.m. last night and was a two-vehicle accident. The motorcyclist, Trey Wiley, died at the hospital from his injuries. And the 2024 pledge. The New Hanover County Sheriff's Office arrested dance instructor Elissa Susan Edwards, 41, on Thursday, July 18, on suspicion of sexual assault. According to NHCSO, the arrest was made following allegations of misconduct involving students at multiple dance studios across the state and multiple studios in New Hanover County.
