Two earthquakes occurred in North Carolina overnight, just minutes apart.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, two earthquakes occurred in Lowgap. The first quake occurred on Saturday at 11:48 p.m., and the second one a few minutes later at 12:22 a.m.
The first earthquake had a magnitude of 2.3 and the second had a magnitude of 1.5.
Both earthquakes were very weak, so both earthquakes may not have been felt by many people.
