Jamie Chadwell's staff added its 13th enrollee for the Class of 2025 on Saturday.
Nas Newkirk, a wide receiver from Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, chose the Liberty Flames during his admissions presentation at the Triad Basketball Academy in Greensboro. Newkirk chose the Flames over a top four pool that also included Duke, Virginia and Virginia Tech.

247Sports lists Newkirk as a three-star prospect and the No. 18 overall prospect in the state of North Carolina for the class of 2025. He is also listed as the No. 92 receiver nationally this recruiting cycle.
Newkirk held numerous offers from other major programs including Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Georgia, Kentucky and Maryland.

During his junior season at Dudley High School, Newkirk caught 51 passes for 1,123 yards and 16 touchdowns, and also played well as a defensive back, recording 66 tackles and seven pass deflections.
