(WGHP) — Summer is fast approaching and you may be in the early stages of planning a beach vacation.
If you don't like the hustle and bustle of some of the most popular, tourist-filled beaches in the Carolinas, you might be looking for somewhere a little quieter.
The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality has created an interactive map View the locations of public beaches in North Carolina with information about parking and fees.
The map will show you information such as whether a beach has gazebos, picnic tables and space to launch kayaks.
