It's almost here, everyone. A Winston-Salem family is trying to get out of the path of Hurricane Beryl and is currently vacationing in the Cayman Islands. Chris Duggan says his wife and kids are visiting while he's in the Cayman Islands for work. He's from the Cayman Islands too, so he's used to tropical storms. But he says he's going to get his family back home and help out after he was there when Hurricane Ivan hit in 2004. They did a lot of damage to the island. We didn't have electricity for the better part of seven weeks, we didn't have running water for the better part of seven or eight weeks. Uh, I couldn't leave my house for over a year. I've made a decision. I'm staying here. Uh, this is the house I grew up in. If anyone needs help, I want to be on the ground ready to help. A woman faces dozens of charges in a hit-and-run accident that injured 15 people, including four North Carolina AA State University students. Greensboro Police arrested 20-year-old Zamir Manis on Monday. She is charged with hit-and-run, assault and multiple felony traffic violations. The incident occurred in March along South Elm Eugene Street and near West Whittington Avenue. Police said a crowd was hit by a car and the driver continued on, but all of the victims survived, some with serious injuries including broken bones. Greensboro Police officers were on the scene prior to the incident to help with crowd control and traffic control. A Winston-Salem man is in jail tonight in connection with a shooting that started as an argument. Jaylen Hoskins, 30, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators took him into custody after executing a search warrant today. The shooting happened Sunday afternoon on Indiana Avenue, and the victim told investigators he got into an argument with the driver of a white SUV, was shot by him, and then…
