Morehead City, North Carolina Authorities are investigating vandalism that occurred overnight at a Democratic Party office in Carteret County, North Carolina.
Carteret County Democratic Party Chairwoman Katie Tomberlin said someone threw rocks and concrete flower pots into the window of her office in downtown Morehead City sometime Saturday night.
It is unclear whether the vandalism was in retaliation for the assassination attempt, but police are investigating the incident.
