At the Lorenz Gunter Tailor, north of Munich, the woman sews vests and jackets of Bavarian wool and other local fabrics. “We have traditions on every day,” says Dieter Ganter, whose grandfather founded the store 80 years ago.
Today's customers are drawn to bright fabrics that are lighter than traditional greens and browns, he said.
