North Carolina gas prices fell last week

Average gasoline prices in North Carolina have fallen 5.4 cents per gallon over the past week, to an average of $3.24 per gallon as of Monday, April 1, 2024, according to a GasBuddy survey of 6,092 stations in North Carolina. The national average price for diesel fell 2.9 cents last week to $3.99 per gallon.
The cheapest station in North Carolina on Sunday was priced at $2.78 per gallon, while the most expensive station was priced at $3.99 per gallon, a difference of $1.21 per gallon, according to GasBuddy's price report.
The national average price for gasoline was unchanged last week, averaging $3.51 per gallon on Monday. The national average is 16.1 cents a gallon higher than a month ago and 1.5 cents a gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering more than 150,000 gas stations nationwide. 0.9 cents more per gallon.
