Low humidity, This week will be mild and sunny
Kenny. And sometimes they're not there. I know the kids are getting ready and waiting to go to the pool by the weekend because they're finishing up their school year. But, you know, the rain chances have cleared up to some extent. So this is perfect timing. School is almost over for a lot of students in the area, but there are a few spots open. The weather is still a little unsettled tonight with rain in Sparta and just north of the Piedmont Mountains. In the Greensboro area, we might get a few light showers here and there. But it's mostly going to be a light rain. 63 in Jefferson, 60 in Sparta. Other than that, the weather is great. Temperatures are 71 in Sedalia, 72 in Kernersville and Winston-Salem, and 70 right now in Greensboro. Highs today are 83, warmer in Burlington today at 84. Normally it's 81 here. So this will be pretty close to what we expect. It will be cool in the morning. Temperatures will warm up into the 70s during the day. Clouds will also move in and we will have a cold front moving through as well. Winds will pick up from the NW to WNW Raleigh at least during the day, gusting and reaching 20 mph with winds potentially reaching 25 mph in the mountains where the cold front will move through. Along the front and ahead of the front, we may get a few light showers here and there as the winds will be nice and dry. But I don't think we will have enough moisture to get rain. We have a really good front coming in and keeping the back end dry. Temperatures will warm up into the 50s to low 60s early Thursday morning, then into the 70s, but just a few clouds in the afternoon. The forecast here is really good. Tomorrow Wednesday morning we will have 59 degrees Fahrenheit, warming up to 81 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind is gusty. Like I said, it's 57 degrees Fahrenheit. It's going to get up to about 79 degrees Fahrenheit in the foothills. These temperatures are not too far off from what we're expecting. They're just about comfortable. The mountain areas are getting up to 54 degrees to 69 degrees. Like I said, the wind gusts will be a little higher. So, the strawberry picking forecast. We're expecting great weather through the weekend. We're going to have great weather here without having to worry too much about rain. We have a ridge of high pressure on Saturday morning with highs of 58 degrees, highs of 74 degrees, which is perfect for strawberry picking. If you're not going to the pool or the tennis court, you might want to go strawberry picking with your family. A lot of people like dry weather, and that's important when you're picking in the field. Now, it's mountain temperatures outside. We're in the 70s in the Sparta area and the northern mountains. And Linville will also have comfortable temperatures, and it's a little warmer in Asheville. There may be a chance of rain, but it won't be much. Just a little. It's late Sunday. Myrtle Beach is beautiful, but it rained there today too, and it ran down the coast. But it's just picture-perfect weather this weekend. Temperatures are back up in the 80s again. Temperatures are starting to warm up on the coast too. You know, 66 in Nags Head. And still up the northern part of the Outer Banks. That's a cool spot for us. But the surf is starting to get up into the low to mid 70s. Now we're heading south down the Sound to Myrtle Beach, and the temperatures over the next few days are 81 on Wednesday, 77 on Thursday to 76 on Friday, and great weather this weekend. Your temperatures are in the 80s, 83 on Sunday, and a 20% chance of precipitation. There's a chance on Monday, but the weather system is too far south and we might not get much rain. Saturday looks like it's going to be a really nice stretch of weather. This is a great soccer pro soccer team for Carolina Core FC. If you have the opportunity to get out and have fun, enjoy the pleasant weather.
