With Drake in there, we can omit the debate about whether Ben McCollum's Bulldog made a 68 field without winning the Missouri Barret Tournament (they probably don't have one).
It also includes Lipscomb. And high points. and siu-edwardsville. And Omaha. The Sunbelt and Southern Conference are scheduled to produce the champions on Monday. And throughout the week we will finish on Sundays of Power Conference Tournaments and Selections. Teams playing for these automatic bids and large hopes around the bubble are at the most crisis this week. Check out regular updates on Jim Root's Bubble Watch this week.
But what about the interests of the secure parts of the bracket? There are five teams that make a lot of profit from conference tournaments and five teams that don't.
I'm sure I'll be working hard this week
Florida: I have Florida as the final first seed after a big win at Alabama. The first seed is worth only to ensure avoidance of Auburn/Duke. I don't know if Florida needs to worry about avoiding anyone, but it's how the Gators play.
Alabama: It's very close to Florida and Alabama. As things go the way this bracket unfolds, that's not so important as the whole seed of No. 4 and the whole seed of No. 5 were shipped west together. But there's no need to deploy that way. The only clear rule is that it cannot exist in No. 1 in all 5.
Tennessee: It's also very close to Alabama and Tennessee. As Houston is heading for first-place lock status, it appears that these three are fighting in one place. However, it's worth it that Vols is No. 2, higher than Alabama. This is the difference right now between Lexington and Cleveland.
Wisconsin: Badgers need to regain their sw walking. Also, the number 3 seed is still very achievable and worth pursuing.
uconn: Husky needs to keep up the momentum. And get one from having to play 8/9 games.
Five is better to take a break and take a break
Auburn: Two straight losses have not changed the fact that this is a clear resume for the sport. You are the perfect SEC champion. Instead of beating yourself for more than three days, tell everyone that the bus will break down and Johnny Bloom's left ankle will be rested.
Duke: I think there is a possibility that the overall seed will be achieved. But what? Duke will become the number one seed with the path of Raleigh Newark. Auburn will be the number one seed with Lexington Atlanta roads. This week is nothing more than an exposure to injuries.
Michigan: You can't see the Spartans breaking the top line, but they can be pushy! Also, we don't know how they will fall into the third species. Another perfect champion that requires no hassle.
St. John's: Providence's start should be guaranteed with the number 3 seed. So instead of going out to number two, they'll get thousands of shots instead?
Houston: OK, go hard for one win to see its No. 1 seed.
We'll be back with a new bracket on Thursday, but then every day until the big day.
