CLAYTON, N.C. — Police officers shot and killed a man at an eastern North Carolina hospital Monday morning, WTVD reports.
The incident happened just before 6 a.m. at UNC Health Care Johnston County in the Town of Clayton.

WTVD reports that the deputy was with the Johnston County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office told WTVD that a deputy shot the man, who died at the scene, but did not say what led to the shooting.
