COLLINSVILLE, N.C. (WFXR) – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Collinsville man was arrested June 3 following an armed robbery investigation in North Carolina.
According to Eden Police, an investigation was launched after an alleged armed robbery occurred Friday at Truist Bank in Eden, N.C. At the scene, officers learned a man, later identified as 53-year-old Bobby Dobbins, had entered the bank and demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint.
Dobbins then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Dobbins was identified as a suspect on Monday, June 3, and the Henry County Sheriff's Office and Patrick County Sheriff's Office began assisting with the investigation.
Dobbins was later located in Collinsville and an arrest warrant was issued by the Henry County Sheriff's Office for a felony robbery in Eden, North Carolina.
Bobby Dobbins was arrested and is currently being held without bail at the Henry County Adult Detention Center.
