The North Carolina Department of Transportation has received $15,000 from the Southeastern States Highway and Transportation Association for the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Scholarship Program. Applications will open May 28 and will be accepted until midnight June 30. NCDOT will select 14 recipients by July 31. The scholarship will provide selected students with $1,100 to use for school-related needs in the fall 2024 semester.
