A crash that happened late last night caused a portion of West Wendover Avenue to be closed overnight. At this time, it is unclear if anyone was injured or how many vehicles were involved. We are also waiting for more information on a crash that caused a portion of East Bessemer Avenue to be closed last night. Greensboro Police have not said if anyone was injured, if anyone was injured, or what caused the crash. Police say that East Cone Boulevard at Highway 29 is now open after a crash that resulted in serious injuries. This happened yesterday and at this time there are no details available on what led to the crash or how many people were involved, but just before 11 a.m. yesterday, Greensboro Police responded to a crash on I-40 westbound near Randleman Road. Police say a car went off the road and overturned, throwing the driver from the vehicle and that person was injured.
Greensboro police say one man is dead after pedestrian crash on Interstate 40 East
A pedestrian was struck and killed by multiple vehicles on Interstate 40 East, according to officers with the Greensboro Police Department. At approximately 10:37 p.m. Saturday, officers say the man was attempting to cross lanes of traffic just east of the West Wendover Avenue ramp when he was struck by a moving Mercedes-Benz S560.
