Raleigh, North Carolina — Raleigh firefighters responded to an apartment fire near North Carolina State University early Friday morning.
The fire was reported just before 1 a.m. at Centennial Lofts on Crest Road near Varsity Drive.
Firefighters worked at the scene for several hours clearing the debris.
No one was injured, but the American Red Cross was assisting some residents.
WRAL News is working to determine the cause of the fire and whether any residents were unable to return to their apartments.
