The Food and Pharmaceutical Bureau has upgraded the December recalls of chocolate and yogurt products created by Karui Farm to the highest level.
This week, the agency is potential or fatal by eating products for those who are allergic or sensitive to almonds, milk, sesami, soybeans, wheat, synthetic dye FD & C No. 6. Even the result was warned.
Karui Farm, California, was incorrectly labeled on December 12 and contained a material that was not listed in the package, so he began to remember some of the products.
No illness has been reported. The recall began after the FDA test at the Cal Yee Farm manufacturing plant.
Products that are eligible for the highest level of recalls include specific packages of dark chocolate almonds, dark chocolate apricots, dark chocolate raisins, and dark chocolate walnuts. New Orleans Hot Mix, Cajan Sesami Hot Stick, Tropical Trail Mix, and some of the packages of yogurt -coated almonds were also affected.
Products are sold under the Karui or Karui Farm brand.
Cal Yee Farm stated that the affected products were sold at two retailers, Swiss Sung Valley, California and Prasser Building, California. Through online and telephone orders, he went to Arizona, California, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
The company said that these allergies and sensitivity customers who purchased the affected products should not eat them. It is recommended to throw them away. Alternatively, we recommend returning them to Karui Farm for a full refund. The label problem was later corrected.
FDA has three classifications for recall, and this week's re -classification or update is a standard part of the process, according to the institution.
Class I, the most serious notification assigned to Cal Yeee, stated that “the use or exposure of violations has a rational probability of causing serious health or death.”
The 2004 food allergen signs and consumer protection laws identify milk as one of the eight major food allergens. Others are shells, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, nuts, and wheat.
