GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — An alert was raised early Monday morning about reports of shots fired on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University.
Shortly after midnight, North Carolina A&T issued a statement saying, “UPD is investigating a shooting inside Barbie Hall. No injuries were reported. UPD is on scene. Please leave the scene.”
Approximately 20 minutes later, University Police sent a follow-up report saying they were still at the scene and asked anyone with information to call (336) 334-7675.
Just before 1 a.m., about 40 minutes after the first alert, they sent out another AggieAlert that read “ALL CLEAR!!” UPD has cleared the scene at this time. If you have additional information, please contact Campus Police at 336-334-7675. ”
There is no update on what led to the possible shooting or whether any arrests have been made.
