Dominic Perico, who admitted drugging and raping his wife over a period of nearly 10 years and inviting dozens of strangers to join him, was found guilty Thursday of aggravated rape and more, and faces up to 20 years in prison. He was sentenced to a year in prison. The court also convicted 50 other defendants, most of them for rape. New York Times reporter Katherine Porter followed the four-month trial and reports from Avignon.
