Washington Commanders quarterback Jaden Daniels, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers will make their first appearances in the 2025 Pro Bowl game, the league announced Thursday. He is at the top of the list of players.
The Baltimore Ravens lead all teams with nine Pro Bowl selections, ahead of the Detroit Lions (seven), Minnesota Vikings (six), Philadelphia Eagles (six) and Dallas Cowboys (five). ) and the Kansas City Chiefs (five) each had five or more selections. players on the roster.
The four teams without anyone on their initial Pro Bowl rosters are the New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, and Tennessee Titans.
Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes was not selected for the first time in his seven years as a starter, although he hasn't been to the Pro Bowl since 2021 as the Chiefs have won the last two Super Bowls.
This year's Pro Bowl Game will be held in Orlando, Florida, and the Skills Challenge will be held over two days at separate locations. The first portion of the skills competition will be held on January 30th at Nicholson Fieldhouse on the UCF campus and will be broadcast on ESPN at 7pm ET. The second part of the event, which includes a flag football game, will be held at Camping World Stadium on February 2nd and will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC at 3pm ET.
The NFL added trivia elements to this year's skills competition, including traditional dodgeball and tug-of-war. Upon “passing the test,” each quarterback will answer five trivia questions about other Pro Bowlers for the 2024 season. If the answer is correct, the passer will have more time to hit the target.
